My name is Janet Jones, I’m a mom with two girls, (oh me nerves). I have a sincere passion for nutrition and fitness and I truly love to help people identify and surpass their goals.

This has not always been my path, but it will be the only one I follow now. I became involved in this industry in 2010, and I am now a certified personal trainer specialist and a student of nutrition. The study of nutrition never ends, and I am always studying, researching, changing, and evolving.

My story is similar to many others. I struggled with my weight for years and could not understand why it was I could never get my old body back. I was active, belonged to a gym, and worked out 5 days a week. I didn’t eat crazy high fat foods, so why was it year after year I was gaining weight? What I didn’t realize is how much of a role nutrition played in my weight gain. I thought I was eating “healthy” foods, but they were filled with sugars, causing me to have unmanageable cravings, and all this sugar and fat was going right to my middle and upper thighs. Not only was I fooled by the food industry into eating “healthy” foods that were making me over weight, but I was doing the same exercises all the time, in my two favorite classes offered at my gym, and my body had stopped responding. No one was challenging me to push more or to activate different muscles by performing different exercises everyday.

Once I started to put all of this together I saw results that I could not believe. At first I said I would love to lose 20 pounds. I set this lofty goal because I honestly thought I would never attain it. I could not believe that not only did I reach my goal, but I surpassed it and ended up with a body I had not seen since I was a teenager. It was at this point I wanted to share my experience with others, and to get them into the best shape of their lives too.

That is how Fitness Nutrition Bootcamp began. I know I can get you into amazing shape, so that you feel stronger, more energized and happier than you have been in years or possibly have even been in your life. It all starts with you wanting to make the change, and believing in yourself enough to see it through. You will not be doing it alone. You will have myself and all the other members going through the same experience and challenges as you!

I understand what is necessary, both in nutrition and fitness, to get you into fantastic shape, and I know that this can be a process as enjoyable as it is rewarding and exciting. Making this change won’t always be easy, but I promise to be there for you while you do, through every push-up and burpee.
